How long i can stay INDONESIA WITH family KITAS E31
Investor KITAS E31 is valid for 1 year1 and can be extended.
After extension, you can apply to convert into KITAP (5 years stay permit).
After maximum 5 years of using KITAS, you may be asked to convert to KITAP.
Can i apply for INVESTOR KITAS if i came on "visa on arrival"?
You can apply for Investor KITAS:
- offshore, before come to Indonesia, and arrive on Visa E31 as a part of KITAS process
- onshore, when you are in Indonesia on visa 211A
- you can’t apply for any KITAS if you came on Visa On Arrival B1
What can i do with Bali family KITAS E31
Staying on Investor KITAS temporary stay permit, you can:
– Apply for change (mutasi) to permanent stay permit (kitap)
– Pursuing education as long as the multiple Stay Permit has been completed,
– Entering and leaving the territory of Indonesia as long as the Re-entry Permit is still valid,
– Engaging in activities related to tourism, and visiting family or friends.
You can’t work using this visa. Regardless of whether it is paid work, internship or volunteering.

HOW TO apply for family KITAS E31 IN BALI
Anyone who wants to apply for an FAMILY KITAS must have a family sponsor. It can be local WNI family member or foreign WNA family member with his KITAS stay permit.
One spouse is local, one spouse is foreign.
Foreign wife / husband need a stay permit.
Spouse is foreign and have own KITAS, for example E33G, E28, C312, etc.
Wife / husband is foreign and need stay permit.
One of parents is local, one of parents is foreign.
Child is foreign and need a stay permit.
Parent is foreign and have own KITAS, for example E33G or C312, etc.
Child is foreign and need stay permit.
COST OF PROCESSING APPLICATION OF FAMILY E31A VISA
Offshore process – you are not in Indonesia
- 10 days process: 11.500.000 IDR
- 5-7 days process: 14.000.000 IDR
- 1-2 days process: 16.000.000 IDR
- Same day process: 18.000.000 IDR (not recommended due to the Immigration system pauses)
Onshore process – you are in Indonesia on visa 211A
