RETURN TICKET FROM INDONESIA
You need a return ticket under 60 days after arrival, if you coming on visas which period is finishing under 60 days:
- B1 Visa on arrival
- 211A / 211B
- B211
This ticket will be checked on your departure airport, not on Indonesia airport.
Regardless of the fact that you plan to stay longer than 60 days (211A), the airlines do not know that.
They are worry you will be overstaying and expect you to leave Indonesia before your visa expires.

ARRIVAL ON BALI AIRPORT
Holders of an electronic visa (pdf you just got from us), can use the autogate system.
After entering the border control hall, go straight and then right, directly to the border control machines.
CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORM
Just before the flight, or just after landing in Bali, you have to fill a customs declaration.
At the end of the declaration, you will see a QR code, keep it and show it to the customs officer upon departure after collecting your baggages.
TRANSPORT FROM BALI AIRPORT
There is no public transport from the airport in Bali.
You can:
– use the transport provided by your hotel
– make an appointment with a driver you know
– use the GOJEK application (if you have access to an Indonesian phone number)
– use drivers waiting at the airport (we do not recommend)
– order transport from us

DRIVING LICENSE IN BALI
IF YOU WANT TO STAY LONGER
You are definitely planning to visit many interesting places that Bali has to offer. If you want to rent a scooter, it is very easy and you do not need to show your driving license.
Unfortunately, the law requires you to have a motorcycle driving license to legally ride in Bali. Have your international motorbike driving license ready, or get your driving license made upon arrival.
Beside the “Bali Belly”, Scooter accidents are probably the most common “problems” travelers experience in Bali and in that sense, it’s also the most dangerous activity – but mostly self-induced, and sometimes even fatal.
In 2019, there sadly were over 1,000 people killed in motorcycle accidents alone in Bali. Officially there are over 10,000 accidents involving bikes every year on the island, although the total is believed to be far higher due to a lack of reporting of minor incidents.
Remember that any insurance company will refuse to pay compensation if you do not have a driving license. Unfortunately, accidents and collisions involving scooters in Bali are extremely common.
