Family KITAS E31 is a stay permit granted to foreign nationals who intend to join their families in Indonesia for a limited period of one year or two years.
Depends on the applicant connection to the Guarantor, different Index of E31 Visa is applied (A/B/C/E)

Indonesia Investor KITAS E31 is a multiple entry stay permit. You can leave Indonesia and comeback unlimited amount of times.
How long i can stay INDONESIA WITH family KITAS E31
Investor KITAS E31 is valid for 1 year or two years and can be extended.
After extensions for 5 years, you can apply to convert into KITAP (5 years stay permit).
After maximum 5 years of using KITAS, you may be asked to convert to KITAP.
Can i apply for family KITAS if i came on "visa on arrival"?
You can apply for Investor KITAS:
- offshore, before come to Indonesia, and arrive on Visa E31 as a part of KITAS process
- onshore, when you are in Indonesia on visa C1
- you can apply for any KITAS if you came on Visa On Arrival B1 (by using Bridging Visa)
What can i do with Bali family KITAS E31
Staying on Investor KITAS temporary stay permit, you can:
– Apply for change (mutasi) to permanent stay permit (kitap)
– Pursuing education as long as the multiple Stay Permit has been completed,
– Entering and leaving the territory of Indonesia as long as the Re-entry Permit is still valid,
– Engaging in activities related to tourism, and visiting family or friends.
You can’t work using this visa. Regardless of whether it is paid work, internship or volunteering.

- Proof of reporting or registration at the Indonesian Mission or at the authorized agency in Indonesia, and a marriage certificate that has been translated into Bahasa Indonesia by a sworn translator except written in English (if marriage was conducted outside Indonesia)
If marriage was conducted in Indonesia:
- CNI (single letter) of foreigner which was used for marriage
- Indonesian marriage book (Buku Nikah) or marriage certificate (Akta Nikah) issued by an authorized ministry or institution
